Disclaimer
By participating in any run, walk, hike, social gathering, weekend excursion, or event (collectively, "Events") organized, hosted, or facilitated by Trail Leopards, you explicitly acknowledge and agree that road running, trail running, and mountain hiking are inherently strenuous physical activities. These activities carry severe intrinsic risks, including, but not limited to, physical injury, dehydration, illness, slip-and-fall accidents, unpredictable mountain weather conditions, rough or technical terrain, encounters with wildlife, or criminal activity.
You confirm that you are medically fit, adequately prepared, and physically capable of participating in these Events. Your participation in any Trail Leopards Event is completely voluntary, and you choose to attend and participate entirely at your own risk.
Limitation of Liability
Trail Leopards operates as a free, open community asset. Neither Trail Leopards, its founder (Kai Forster), its leadership team, its volunteer group guides, nor any associated venues or sponsors (collectively, the "Leopards Crew") shall be held legally or financially liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, damage, theft of personal property, illness, injury, or death sustained before, during, or after any Event.
By showing up to an Event, you hereby unconditionally release, waive, and forever discharge the Leopards Crew from any and all legal claims, demands, rights of action, or lawsuits arising out of negligence, inherent activity risks, or any other cause.
Responsibility for Minors and Dependents
Trail Leopards proudly welcomes diverse age groups. However, any participant under the age of 18 must be accompanied and directly supervised by a parent or legal guardian at all times during Events. The accompanying adult assumes full, unconditional legal and financial responsibility for the safety, actions, and conduct of said minor.
Right to Refuse Entry
To preserve the safety and positive culture of the community, the Leopards Crew and its Ethics Committee reserve the right to refuse entry to, or remove any individual from, an Event at their absolute discretion if a participant's conduct violates community rules, compromises group safety, or damages the encouraging environment we cultivate.
